Work Done:
The project is a complex language processing and text indexing system allowing the user to insert, index and query huge amounts of data, executing not only simple text queries but also complex proximity and grammatical queries. A client/server environment provides the distribution of the indexing tasks on several PCs for faster indexing using many indexer clients. It is a high-performance, full-featured text indexing and search engine written entirely in C++. It is a COM technology suitable for nearly any application that requires not only full-text search, but also complex lexical analysis, boolean, frequency, collocation, and proximity searches. |
