Work Done:
This is a project where we developed a contactless smart card reader for attendance recording (Philips MIFARE cards). We did the hardware and software. The program file attached is only the main program. Libraries used are not attached for obvious reasons.
We used a simple 8051 processor and the BOM cost was a fraction of our competition.
Initially we did the reader with RS485 networking and later changed it for TCP/IP. Of course we had a module for ethernet - we did not build it ourselves. |
