Tiki Navigator As is a very small company selling marine navigation software. Our software displays Maptech BSB and SoftCharts raster charts i up to 3 windows -and decodes NMEA 0183 data from GPS and boat instruments like log, depth, compass and wind - and can also send steering data to the autopilot. Our strength is the unique user interface and help system which make our software easier to learn and use than any other navigation programs - and nice graphics. The weaknesses are lack of some advanced features like decoding data from AIS receivers, GRIB weather files, tidal data etc - and that the program can not use vector charts like ENC/S57, C-Map or Navionics.
Our software is mostly programmed in Visual Basic 6, but some parts are programmed in C++ with a VB wrapper, so that the dll with C++ functions can be handled from VB.
We have no longer a C++ coder on the team, and would like to outsource the coding of special new features both in VB6 and C++. We may also need help with some database work and web programming.
