PHP Script Modification 3
This is the third time that fernand and I worked together. This time he solved three problems in one single project. As before the work was done perfectly with good communication.
Due to some personal obligations it took a little bit longer than before, but not in a way that it caused problems. Besides, before he delivered within hours, so it is only to be expected that occassionally it will take a bit longer than that.
I am very satisfied with the work that fernand delivered and certainly will work with fernand again on my next project.

PHP Script Modification 2
Once again, fernand did excellent work for me on a PHP script modification. He added an RSS feed wih images to my site. It works like a charm.
In contrast to all other bidders to the project, fernand gave relevant information in his bid. All other bidders just gave a 'copy and paste' general introduction. I really wonder if they actually read the linked documentation. Nobody made any reference to it. (I find it impossible to take such bidders seriously. They may be great, but I can't find that out if they don't refer to my specific project.)
Once again, fernand offered a working demo before the bid was awarded. He delivered the relevant files immediately after being awarded the project.
Additionally, his bid was very realistic and appropriate for the amount of work involved.
I can highly recommend fernand for any PHP and RSS work (the only two fields fernand and I have worked with so far, and thus the only fields I can judge him on). I will definitely work with fernand again.

PHP Script Modification
In my specs was a link to a forum thread about a mod I needed in my script. Fernand was the only bidder to mention this thread. I don't know if the other bidders really studied my specs and the thread, but I know Fernand did.
His bid was based on about two hours of work, which was exactly what I had calculated the work would take. Some other bidders offered bids that showed that they believed that the work would take many more hours. This gave me the impression that they didn't really study my specs very carefully.
Fernand created a working demo before I awarded the bid, and delivered within hours after I awarded the bid to him.
Additionally, he sent me clear and precise documentation of the changes he had made to the script.
I can recommend him highly.

started the project, everything seemed ok in the beginning - then he basically abandoned it ... at first i got at least excuses (though now i wonder if those were lies) ... after a while even that ceased ... just a deafening silence ... on some level i wonder whether he is not gonna try and do my idea by himself ... we will see - i would avoid his person at all cost ... very untrustworthy imo

This was my second try at using GetACoder and I feel fortunate for having gotten fernand. I got and excellent product and more important than anything else was the customer service after the delivery of the product. There were some bugs, I well understand that working across continents requires time and patience and fernand was very patient. The service after the product was delivered and the money paid was very impressive. This experience was exactly opposite of my first experience.
