Work Done: We have developed a networked Java 2 Micro Edition consumer application for feature phones ie usual cellphones. The application allowed users to have the features of a popular social network service on the go. The app was written in J2ME, and is MIDP 2.0 CLDC 1.0 compatible. The provided version is for Motorolla Razor. The application was part of 3 tier system, which would allow interact with the Social Network, Interact with the Device and store the relevant information. It has a rich UI and native functionality such as the camera API. The project involved porting to large number of USA handsets.
