Description
Hello,
I am currently in need of a step by step guide to developing an application with Phonegap. The reason why it is posted under this section is because for a school project I have to develop this application while using my own team from school. However, I thought that it would be best to get a project schematic of what to do, and how to do it from a person with experience.
Zxing UPC scanning (or an alternative if you feel that would be better).

Users will be able to scan an item, or take a picture of an item and submit it into the app. (our online database). Before it is submitted, the user inputs information about the price, location and they rate it. Once it is on the database, other users who have the app, or on the website, are then able to give the deal thumbs up or thumbs down and rate it. Users can sort by store, items, and locations to see some of the best deals around.
There is an admin panel (osmek) where the admin can add things that are shown to the phone users and website users. The purpose of this admin panel is mainly for the purpose of the "Blitz Deal" section.
The "Blitz Deal" section is where a local company is able to have a deal on a limited amount of items. For example, a girls shoe store in the mall can place a deal last minute, or timer set a deal so that it flashes on the screen to say 100 shoes are available for \ marked down from \. As users go into the mall to purchase these shoes, the number of available shoes will decrease LIVE on the persons phone application until no more left.
There are numerous ways to make revenue from this, but the specifics of this overview is to touch up on the key features.
There are additional features that would implement additional APIs from companies such as (http://www.cortexica.com/) or (http://zugara.com/), or possibly subscription plans for brick and mortar stores, but I am trying not trying to get off the center focus of this application.
