Description
Software similar to Windows SteadyState, but smaller, easier to install and setup.
The software prohibits other users from running unwanted applications or visiting unwanted websites.
- Hide program menus in windows,example: Controlpanel, accessories.
By entering password, the system will be unlocked and all restrictions are "paused".
- Prohibits users from inserting USB memories/harddrives and copying/installing files from it.
- Prohibit user from running explorer commands, filecopying, renaming, cutting.
- In administration mode, there will be an "Learning mode" function.
When learningmode is turned on, it will record everything that happends in the computer and memorize it, and allows it when administrator is logged of.
This means. that if you only want the user to be able to run some specefic programs, you open those programs in learning mode and it will memorize registry changes, processes, and directories/files that are beeing used..
It keep tracks of registry changes, processes that are used etc.
When administrator is logged of_(normal mode), if some process are detected wich is not memorized it will ask for allowing (by entering password), if not entering password or correct password, the process must be killed and shutdown.
The same goes for registry changes, if any changes are made into registry while running in normal mode, all changes must be approved or they will be deleted again.
- Always start when booting windows XP, and it doesn't matter wich user logs in.
