Description
can anybody do a calculator for me?? it's a final project of CS1. at least 17 keys. I have to do a perfect project to pass the class. I hope you guys can help me! I really need extra credit!! add more keys than the example! thanks very much. I'll up load a example!

Design a basic calculator that is able to perform the four basic arithmetic operations: +, -, *, and /

User will input into this calculator in infix notation:

All functions must be heavily commented.

Notes:

Global Variables: I have used the following global Variables. You may find them useful.

gLeftOperand as Decimal

gRightOperand as Decimal

gOperator as String ‘this is the Operator to be applied next.

gDecimalPressed as Boolean ‘This indicates that the decimal point has been pressed.

gEnterPressed as Boolean ‘This indicates that an Operator (or the equal sign) has been pressed

Regarding the Decimal Point:
when Decimal Point is pressed, check to see if it has been pressed previously. If it has, ignore this click. if it has not been pressed previously, set the gDecimalPressed to true and call NumberPressed(".") This will prevent the user from entering a number like this: 35.42.12.25

Regarding Clear:
When C is pressed, reset all the global variables: Left and Right operands, Operator, gDecimalPressed should be set to False, gEnterPressed should be set to true (so that we can begin a new number after this) and set the display to zero.

Functions:

You will use at the minimum the following functions in your program:

NumberPressed(N as String)

This function will be called from all Number keys. You will pass the key that was pressed to this function and this function will process the key.

So, when 2 is pressed, you will call NumberPressed("2") etc.

Depending on the value of gEnterPressed, this function will either add the new digit to the displayed number or starts a new number (resets gEnterPressed back to False) and displays the new number.

This function will give explanations in a textbox (as shown in the sample program) about it’s operations. These explanations must be in your own words and must match the activities of the function.

OperatorPressed(Op as String)

This function will be called from all Operator keys (+, -, *, /, =)

So, when + is pressed you will call OperatorPressed(“+”) etc.

This function

1. Applies the gOperator to the Left and Right operands,
2. Stores the Op into the gOperator global variable
3. Resets the gDecimalPressed to False (so that it can be pressed again while entering the new number)
4. This function treats = differently than the other operators.

Extra Credit: (Only awarded to programs whose basic functions work perfectly.)
Add more advanced functions to this calculator: Exponent, Trig functions etc.
