Description
I am looking for a web based vehicle tracking system customers. It\'s needed to be able to display multiple vehicles on screen at the same time. As well as showing live tracking it will need the facility to look at previous journeys and be able to generate reports for fleet management so will need a database to store position information.
Geo fence area set up is another feature required. Also Vehicle details and other related details those can be discussed. Similar to track 4 free dot com

If u send the terminal an SMS with the content "LOCATION", It will reply u back with its current location ... I have the application .. If u want I can give it to u for testing .. I am a Contract Programmer from Seattle,WA and I have extensive experience with mapping solutions. What type of tracking devices are you using? Depending on your service, you may have limited access to some functionality. I have previously done a google maps solution for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation. I have also experience with Salesforce integration, if you are tracking delivery drivers this could be very helpful. I have multiple mapping examples that I can provide to illustrate my abilities relating to your project needs.
1) Do you have a valid spec sheet?
2) This would take 60 days(anyone who gives you a lesser deadline is underbidding on the time frame) minimumm, I will work with you to realize your goals, and will tell you if something will increase my timeframe. Even if you have a spec sheet, I can guarantee that some things will have to be changed after the fact, i will work with you to an extent on issues that make logical sense.
3) I cant start this till March 1.
4) I would need to distinguish my templates so that they dont look like my other clients work.
5) Would need to work hand in hand with a daily/several times a week phone call lasting 5-30 minutes depending.
6) I prefer to work at nights, My schedule may conflict with your needs, but that is how i get the most work done.
I am in Seattle,WA so am in the PST zome.(regular schedule your time)
7) I would need to see a decent project requirements before moving forward.
8) Any follow-up repairs to this system after the fact will still require payments. Most customers wind up paying between 100-200 per
additional feature requests not covered in the spec data.
9) I need access to your server asap to get a variety of things setup for production of the software. All programming would be done
on your server
10) You get what you pay for. If its not in the spec sheet, then i am willing to negotiate other functionalities you need on a realistic basis. You will surely recieve lower bids, but i am a professional with over 15 years of experience.
11) I never put my eggs in one basket. Some days I may spend 12 hours on your map, some days i may only do 4. This may be frustrating, but i have clients that I must support in a long term capacity. I work weekends and am available 24/7 for emergency support.
12) The software is very complex. If you are planning on reselling it, it will not be formatted in such a way that it migrates to other servers well.
16) Windows Server needed with –* Active domain pointed at it
* Administrator access.
* Non-Firewalled for setup period.
* Full version server, you must actually own windows.
As far as hosting providers, I suggest Godaddy, and any plan over 100$ a month is good.
