Description
We are in need of someone to complete our video game tournament/ladder script.
Winning bidder will have to test all aspects of the current code and ensure that it works properly.
We want this site to be bridged (shared login) with vBulletin and OScommerce.
We also need a new skin (site theme) created for the site.
What we need added to the functions of our current script include (some of this may already be completed in the current script)
(user side):
Ability to add YouTube video, screenshots and Audio player (i.e., from Playlist.com) into player profile and Team Profile
Install script for creating database tables, etc.
Ability to create/join a team without having to join a ladder
Gamercard creator
Have one team page where you can manage your members, challenges and matches all from one place. Have that one team join multiple ladders instead of creating a new team on each ladder.
Ability for tickets to be assigned by user to certain ladders
Ability to link to forums from Team Profile (for private forums)
Ability to add Facebook, MySpace, Twitter etc. to player and team pages
Add the option that members can apply for a team and not wait to be invited, this would mean a clan leader can link the page on their site for members to follow.
Team Join password : Where the leader can set a password for members to join
Ability to add Blog in players and Team Profiles (Team can have separate Blog from its members)
Custom Challenge/Match Finder improved. So that the players can select certain things that they want in a game (example: cod4 singles. noob toobs: disabled, claymores: enabled, etc.)
User name & Gamertag (PSN ID, Wii Code, etc) displayed in roster (not player ID#)
Users own rank (including wins and losses) displayed
Admin Side:
New tournament system single/double elimination to be able to attach it to ladders or create it as separate cup
Set the number of team members per team on each ladder/tournament (can be over-ridden in Admin CP)
Singles page for ladder/tournament
League system that will allow for both NFL (US Style) and Soccer (EU style) leagues. It will therefore have to have things like scheduled matches, free play matches but with maximum amount of matches played, play-offs (US league option), overall setup (number of leagues/divisions, number of entrants, number of matches per season/session, etc)
Add pay-to-play challenges (1 player/team challenges another to $x.xx. Both players/teams deposit the agreed upon amount into an escrow account before match. After the match we take a set percentage of the money and the winner receives the rest.)
Add Player Transfers between teams and releasing of players to free agent status by Team Captains (additional options for captains only so team members can not release/transfer other players.)
Add email notification (to staff and player) for Tickets
Pre-registration discount – where players/teams have until certain day & time to receive a discount on entry fee, after that day & time entry fee changes & ability to close signups for tournament/ladder on day/time
Ability to pay for ladder/tournament individually or as a team (system should check to see if player has already paid for entry by searching his/her name and teams as well)
Ability to set Points individually for ladder/tournament (i.e., 3 points for win, 2 points for tie, 1 point for loss)
Ability to draw a match in script and have the results / ladders updated appropriately.
Ability to randomize the game modes in the challenge for the 3/5/7 rounds
Ability to automatically change the status of a match and/or challenge to expired once a certain amount of time has elapsed after the challenge and/or match date has gone by and not been reported. (i.e., challenge was to take place at 1:30 p.m. no one reports the match by 2:30 and it is deleted)
When a Team is challenged the Leaders AND co-leaders of both Teams will receive a pop-up message on the website and an email.
We are to receive open-source files, as well. Once completed the software belongs to us and winner is not allowed to resell the code.
We also want 1 year of de-bugging included. If during that year we find bugs in the script we want the programmer to take care of it at no additional charge!
Programmer must have a fully functioning demo available (on their server) and we must have access to it in the time frame that is quoted. When project is completed by the programmer we will require 1 week to test the script before releasing the money.
