I need a simple program that I can either run in a folder with a bunch of mp3 and it converts them all into the xml format that i need or a simple program where I can hit a browse button and select which mp3s to convert to xml format.

I have it working just like I need in python however I can't get the length of mp3 files, I have tried using pymedia but its just not working like I need it to.

So what I need is a program that can either be located in the same directory with a bunch of mp3 files and convert all of those mp3 files to an xml file, or the preferred method a program where you can select the mp3 files and select the output directory for the xml files.

The xml file is very very simple, what is happening is you take the mp3 file, create a text file and name it the same thing as the mp3 file, then you write the first part of the xml file, insert the correct file path for the mp3 file, insert the name of the mp3 file, then a little more xml code, then I need the time of the mp3 file to be inserted in the xml code, then some more xml code and then to close the file.

It really is very simple and I am not willing to pay more than 30 dollars, because I will eventually get it figured out but I would like to have it done now and in visual basic.

I want an executable that when ran it has input directory, and output directory, and then a convert button.

the input folder would be where the mp3 files are located
the output folder is where the xml files will be located

the xml files must keep the correct file path to the mp3 file, so that when the xml file is run in a program it still works.
