Description
I am not very technical so I cannot tell you how this should be done, but I require a few reports on my competitors that I have been told could be created using a spider script.
I own a website where consumers can order and purchase from their local takeaway online. However this is a very competitive market, and takeaways are not exclusively tied down to any specific service provider like me - so several of my competitors have the same takeaways signed up, i.e. Just Eat and Hungry House have very similar takeaways listed in London.
I would like to know which UK takeaways / restaurants are listed on all of my competitors websites, i.e. in the case of Just Eat I'd like all the details on the 4315 takeaways they currently have signed up. If possible I require as much information as possible on each competitor report, i.e. name of the takeaway, food type that it has been listed under (i.e. Indian, Chinese etc), address details, any contact details, whether it offers delivery/collection etc.
If possible I would like another report that is constantly updated (so perhaps you could store it online / send me weekly / monthly updates) when a new takeaway is signed up to one of my competitors. I would like this report to have 2 tabs if possible, so 1st one should include a high level numbers overview of how many takeaways my competitors have signed up to date, and the second one provides further details on each new takeaway i.e. name, address etc.
Another useful report would be to provide me with a full list of all the takeaways / restaurants in the UK including address, contact details and its type of food if possible, as my competitors won't have everyone signed up. I assume you would have to have a relevant subscription package / script to analyse Yell / Google business directory for this report.
Please see the attached text file for a list of all my competitors that I require reporting on.
I would expect these reports to be exportable in spreadsheet format if possible so that I can manipulate the data using Excel.
Please let me know which reports you can do (as I appreciate that the competitor updates report may not be possible / may be more costly) and for how much.
