I have a demo of a program that is a "Spouse monitor" you install it on your system and it will record keystrokes.

I posted this project about a week ago. I found a coder to remove the demo limitations from my program in XP. They created a 3rd party patch that is applied to my program. The coder does not have Vista so it doesn't work on vista 100%. It only works on vista sometimes and other times it will mess up the output of the keyboard and mouse. Many times the program after it's patched if executed on Vista it will crash and mention to debug with JIT debugger. I have the source of the patch the coder coded for the XP version.

So, I need a Vista expert to upgrade my patch to work on Vista. It works 100% on Win XP. So you should be able to use the existing source and just upgrade it to work on Vista. Currently The original version of my program does not crash on vista so I know it's the patch and not the program itself.

Here was my original post regarding the program I have and what I needed done:

"The program that I have was custom coded but, it is a demo version and I need to remove the demo limitations. The way the program works is that there is the main program when you put in all the settings (ftp settings, when to uninstall, etc..) and it outputs an .exe that is the logger that is executed silently.

Well, the demo version which I have, has a popup when it is executed which states the logger is being installed on the users pc. I need this popup removed.

The 2nd popup is that there is a feature in this program that if a "danger application" is installed on the system such as a firewall that will be detected by this program, then the program checks for the .exe of the firewall as soon as it is being installed if the FW is detected it will not install the program.

Well there is a popup if FW is found saying, (xxx FW has been found, not installing program." So, I need this popup removed as well) "

So to summarize the patch that was coded in XP removes the two popup messages. I need this patch (which I have the source to) upgraded to work on Vista as it does on XP.

The 2nd thing that I need done after the program has been upgraded to Vista. Is that currently my program will not run after reboot. This is also a demo limitation. Normally, the program should run continuously even after reboot, until it is automatically removed by the settings I created in the main program.

I need the program coded to continue to run after reboot, currently the way the program is coded is that it does not delete itself when the computer is rebooted. The program simply does not inject the code in windows to auto-start itself.

I need the program to auto-start itself silently and it needs to be hidden well, cannot be found easily. I prefer if it was coded as a windows service. However, I don't really know about this, however you can get it hidden well.

If you want to bid on this project and you don't know how to code the auto-start and hide the program well but, you know how to upgrade this program to Vista so it works just like it works on XP currently. Then that's ok with me, if you can get it to work on Vista then I can find another coder to code the auto-start.

I have the source of the patch as I've mentioned I also have the source to the main module of my own program that has the demo limitations. It is only a .cpp file I don't have the header files and source files, or else I could've just recomplied. It's just the code to the main module. I think this helped my previous coder.

Here is more information by the previous coder:

"the given cpp file is the only thing for the xp patch.
You can compile it with any C++ compiler (like visual studio or gcc)
This patch runs and neutralizes the machine codes that display the message boxes.

The locations and sizes of these code blocks were predetermined by using kernel debugger (like SofICE/ollydbg). As a result, the patch for xp becomes as simple as changing some bytes in the .exe

The patch for Vista will be almost similar, but the number and location of bytes to be changes will vary."

Just like the previous coder coded a 3rd party patch this is what I need. Since I use my main program to output different variations of the logger (different ftp settings), so it's not a one time removal on one specific exe.
