***This is a repost of an earlier project from about 2 hours ago. I decided to repost the project to add a little more clarity about the specifications needed**
I am the owner of www.gradebookpro.com. It is a website for teachers to input student grades. Although it is fully functional, there are many improvements and fixes I would like to be done.
Firstly, the design of the website is very simplistic and lacking any visual appeal. Your job will be to add a touch of simple visual appeal. Nothing fancy, but an improvement in visual appearance would be nice.
Secondly (and more importantly), your job will be to review the current coding and implement the changes and fixes that I've thought of. I've attached a file which lists the major additions and bugfixes I'm looking for. Please see the attached "gradebookpro.txt" file for an idea of the scope of my requirements. Although this is not an exhaustive list, this list encompasses nearly everything, but is certainly a rough draft at the moment to give bidders an idea of the complexity (or simplicity) of this project.
If you have any interest in pursing this project, please let me know! I am a teacher myself, so please know that your work will be well-utilized! Please send me a message if you have any questions or concerns. I am looking for a finished project by the end of July so that I can start the new school year with a new gradebook!

Changing the appearance would only take 4 days and $200, but for the additional tweaks to the coding it will take more time and money. Depending on your source code and how well it is documented, it may take a few minutes to understand the process of it to several hours. That is without editing or adding new features, but just solely understanding it. Adding new features and editing would take additional time.

I have taken the liberty to register on your website (user: raza) and I have taken a test drive. As you say, it seems to be fully functional, and yes, a facelift would be a big encouragement to users!
We at PerfectTeam are a small group of developers and we would really like to strike a business relationship with you. We would be willing to quote a low price for the chance to decome your permanent developer for this project. We see much potential to add features to the website and make is world-class.
I have taken a quick look at your specification. It is a long list and I doubt if anyone could do it within the $300 budget you have indicated. At least I do not see any professional developer being able to work within such a small budget.
My initial assessment is that the list of changes will take a minimum of one month and maybe closer to 2 months to complete (taking into account that it will have to be thoroughly tested before completion can be claimed).
A full-time developer will cost you $2200 per month. However, at this time I suggest you give us a contract for two weeks of effort (but spread over one month because there may be idle times when we are waiting for communication from the other side). At the end of the period we will know better and will be able to more accurately assess further cost and continue forward.
