Description
To give you a brief overview I currently have a site and script up and running but it really only does about 1/3 of what I was promised and what I need..
I'm not really sure how is the best way to go about this.. what type of info do you need to give me some idea of whether you can do it or not and at what cost?
The site currently has a main page, a page only logged in members can see, Faq, tos, etc.. basically what happens at this point is the user reads the main page info, hits the join button, they are taken to another page with the terms on it, at the bottom they click a button and they are taken to egold where they make a 39.95 payment for membership.
Once they are done they are redirected back to the members area. In the members area they have some linking code they can use to refer other members.. here is where the problems begin.
First of all the referrer system is NOT tracking members correctly right now so that will have to be fixed first..THEN the following
When a user refers a new member that info is stored in a table and there is a running count in the back office, which is fine. BUT what I WANTED is...
That referral info to be stored in two tables, becuase I need to keep a running total for the members they've referred for two reasons.
One - they are awarded what we call reward points, which equal 500 points for each user they refer and they are just totalled in the back office and nothing more.. the members can see them but that's it.
Two - we also want the ability to pay each member $10 dollars for each new referral. So we need that tracked but we also need the ability to to have a list somewhere accessible in the admin control panel that shows us what referral payments have been made and what haven't. So for example once a week I could click a link and see all members that have referrals for that week, then I pay what it owed and have a way to mark them paid so they don't show as unpaid anymore..
FINALLY... once that is done which I'm told is rather minor, I need a whole extra membership class... this is going to be called the VIP level, these members will have all same functions of the above members, with just value differences, they will receive 600 reward points per referral and $15 per referral and naturally they will need their own linking code and join page so I can see in the back office the difference between a regular and VIP member..
Does that all make sense? Please tell me if anything is not clear and what else I can tell you.
