Description
We are now accepting bids on a programming project that requires experience, creative skills and quick thinking, you will create a Web Crawler script that will go to the same web site each evening, and download our customer information, the program will need to move to several pages for each customer and download the specific information needed, the program should stop downloading customer data when it reaches the point of the last record downloaded the previous evening.
I have attached a sample sheet of the data needed from the web site, we will provide site information upon awarding project.
the structure of the crawler script should work as follows:
I will login and go to the first web page, then the crawler should get working, it will download some fields from this page, and then will double click that customer name, then select a button from the bottom of the page, which will open a detailed summary order page for that customer, then the crawler will download data from here, and click another detail button on the bottom of the page, and again the same from the next page, then the program will highlight that customer again, and click a button on the page, which will display more information about that customer, he will download some information form this page, and click done, which will return to the first page where it started, and it will continue to the next customer and do the same as previously until it hits a record which is a duplicate in which case it will stop, the way it will know that it's a duplicate is, there are no two order numbers alike.
It is a fun and easy crawler for the right programmer!!!!
All the data compiled should be saved into a MySQL database.
