3. Hello Developers!
I need a Penny Auction website – a cross of Swoopo.com and BidsTick.com. The site should use PHP, MySQL, CSS, HTML, etc. Please register to these sites and get the full idea of how they work.
The features should be the similar to the original sites. The script has to be:
• Modular with possibility to later add new modules, features and new forms of auctions
• Administrator area: needs to have simple utility to control every aspect of the website, settings, users, auctions, bids, billing and layout. Need to know how many users are logged in ready to bid.
• Scheduled opening of future auctions (like madbid.com) and drop down menu for different categories of auctions.
• Administrator must have ability to change auction clock countdown period manually and automatically (example: when price reaches to $5 then time is reset to 30s instead of 1 minute)
• Secure payment system using Paypal and SSL + Merchant Account. Must have possibility to later add more payment options like direct debit from bank account
• Users can get free bids on signup or by referring friend to the site who become members. Want promotion codes ability on checkout for coupon driven discounts.
• It must have automated bidding system which places bids for users (see BidButler at Swoopo: http://www.swoopo.com/bidbutlerhelp.html
We need a simple and clean design. Similar to bidstick.com with ideas from sendiralli.ee, sendikas.ee, and some swoopo.com interface. It should be easily upgradeable in the future. Open to your ideas with the design of administrator side of project - it needs to be simple to use.
