Description
We are looking for three new features to P2P NAT (http://www.csg.unizh.ch/research/software/nat-traversal/)
The three new features we are looking for are:
1. The id for each node shall a RSA public-key. For a node to be allowed to add an entry to the DHT of nodes and their corresponding rendezvous-node the node has to verify that it is the owner of the public-key’s corresponding private-key.
2. All nodes verify the signature of the other node when initiating a TCP-connection (to prevent man-in-the-middle attacks).
3. When a hole-punching attempt fails the system should fall back to relaying (i.e. TURN) to increase success rate. The relaying is done over the node’s rendezvous node.
A short proof-of-concept demo is required.
