Description
The goal is provide an ecommerce website to a printshop. I am currently using a standard ecommerce backend and have developed the front-end for the homepage and the product pages is done. They must be utilized and are seen here http://www.egoods.com.au/print/scripts/default.asp
What remains are 5 tasks described below that will require modifying the admin section asp files and some front-end.
I am willing to proceed using either of two ways- use the existing ecommerce application and modify it to complete the goal (budget $600-$800 with some flexibility for high speed development) or use the front-end html files only and build the remaining application based on an ecommerce package you are familiar with (Budget $1200 with some flexibility for high speed development). If a new package is used please send me the functionality list. Either way, asp or asp.net with mysql as backend is required. (Access db is okay for demo)
You can keep the files on your test server (if you desire). Once I see the completed work for each task on your server I will transfer the amount for that task to your account. At the same time you will send me the files. Regardless which approach is taken,Task 1 must be completed within 5 plus 1 day for me to review and give feedback. The whole project must be completed within 6 weeks. There will be a 10% bonus amount for finishing early by atleast 3 days, 5% bonus for on-time and or 2% penalty for each week that is delayed unless the delay is due to agreed advance notice or an acceptable reason (event beyond your control,change in spec's, etc). I must receive status update feedback every 2 to 3 days. I must be given atleast 1 day to review and give feedback for changes before the due date for each task. You may submit draft html pages before development to make sure we understand what needs to be done. If you agree please provide a proposal (contract) back to me for consideration with contact info (atleast 2 people in case one is not reachable), dates,and cost,and some documentation that you have the resources and the skills to finish the project in a timely manner and some description of similar projects you have done.I will make my decision by eod Jan 2.
1.Modify and add product option groups andability to add options and pricing to the groups 2. Product Photo upload process has to be directly from the product page rather uploading it first from the admin homepage and then selecting it from the product page
3. Content management for the picture, text and special announcements on the homepage and other non-product pages
4. Integration with free FedEx software for shipping rates and shipping address(es) label printing http://www.fedex.com/us/solutions/software/?link=4
5. Order Status Page to be used by the customer and the print shop employees- (managed using CMS to add the logo for each customer) as the page for the customer to login and view their orders and their status. The customer will approve the "proof" for the order from this page. The proof is an image of the final product that is developed by printshop. The image could have an id number that matches it to the customer order. The printshop employee would like to drag this image to a folder and the customer can then view it by logging into the order status page and clicking on the proof for that order. He can then approve or disapprove. If approved,the printshop employee needs to be notified,maybe by email and by being able to view it from the interface.
