Good day,
I want to make additions to the java application i would like you to create. first of all i would like to know if the application would need a website to function i.e a database to store user information. i would like the application to contain a profile for each user where they can either upload their pic or take a pic with their phone. after installing the application they would sign up by filling in a list of information about them. i would like users to search for other members by age, by department and by school, send a friend request and accept friend request. they would then be able to chat with the friends that are online. also i would like the software to include a text advert block at the top of the chat area to allow me to place adverts. i would also like you to submit your bid. Before you start work on the application i would like to give you a detailed description
of what is expected and to get your opinion. The mobile app will have 10 pages with 9 of the pages have different
features and the 10th page being the login page.
The first page will be the home page which will contain sections for news, notifications on activities on the app and a section where we can input special info titled gist and gossips.
The second page will be the profile page with sections for subscribers to place their post , view thier friends post, input or edit their personal info and view their friends list, accept and send friend request, search for friends.
The third page will be the chat page where subscribers can chat with their friends or join and open chat group called forum. they can also sugest a chat topic. all in different sections.
The fourth page will be the hook-up page where subcribers are randomly matched with the opposite sex. they are given the option to accept the match or decline. if one party should decline the match the match is discarded and another generated but if both asccept the system should make both of them friends(if not already friends) and set a date for them.
The fifth page will be the Jokes and Events page where there will be sections for jokes form us (in an List) and a list of upcoming events. subscribers will be given the option to say if they are attending an event or not and they would be able to see how many people are attending an event or not.
The sixth page will be the soccar page where there will be sections for news and info on soccar and a list of matches with scores if the match has already taken place. info will be provided by the admin
The seventh page will be the Face Of The Day page with one subscriber selected by the admin as the face of the day. the subscribers pic will be on top with info on the person below. there should be a section for users to submit their name to be the face of the day.
The eight page will be the effizy page where there will be sections for users to submit their pic either through their phone memory or camera to show their effizy and a section to view the pictures which would initially appear as thumbnails and in pages then when they select it, it enlarges.
The ninght page will be a Music page where ther will be sections for music countdown (top 10) and music info and news
The final page will be the login page.
