Description
I work for a national High school, college and professional awards show company. We produce local awards shows through the U.S. We currently have a web based (silverlight) voting system with backend admin that allows us to setup up to 40 or so awards with 4 nominees per category. Each nominee includes their photo name, sport/position, grade (if hs or college), brief stats that make the a nominee and a link to the nominees social networking page. The data is collected and can be exported in MSSQL. For the new project I need to be able to provide this same functionality as the web system but I need one for Mobile web enabled smart phones and a separate iphone application. Each of these will allow fans to select their local market then drill down and vote for each award category. We would also allow fans to have unlimited voting privileges -- but want to mitigate automated voting systems with the requirement to input a captcha number to finish voting...

Hi I have a bit more information for you to review. Please submit bids based on this new info:
2. Event Fan Voting System App: Currently we have a Silverlight, web based voting system for a client that we would like to expand to the iphone and mobile web. The voting system must support multiple city events (up to 50 cities) where each city event will have a different set of awards and nominees. The app includes:
a. The ability to add/edit/delete multiple city award events
b. The ability to custom add/edit/delete awards per city event
c. The ability to custom add/edit/delete nominees per city event
i. Each nominee will include thumb pic, name, school (or team) sport, brief bio and link to their web based profile page (that already exists)
d. The ability to submit a vote per award
e. The ability to display voting results per award after the city event is held
f. A banner management system which includes:
i. Full banner library
ii. Random banner impressions
iii. Custom banner per city award event/award type and nominee
iv. The ability to have a banner link to a custom app page per sponsor instead of linking to the sponsor website (option to provide either)
g. In order for a app subscriber to vote they must register at a website… there will be three web license types: FREE, Voter-10, Voter-Unlimited…. A subscriber will sign up at the website the level they wish to use, then the app must recognize the level and provide the proper level features… the difference between the levers are:
i. FREE – a subscriber can vote for each award in each city event up to 2 or 3 times per award.
ii. Voter-10 – a subscriber has use of all the features in the FREE app but they can vote up to 10 additional times per award per event. The paid subscriptions are valid for only the current event season/year.. for example if they upgrade to voter-10 they can take use of its expanded features for all events in 2010—in 2011 they would have to upgrade again from the FREE level….
iii. Voter-Unlimited – same as Voter-10 but gives them unlimited votes per award per event in a given event season
h. The iphone app download will be FREE – but the app must recognize the subscription levels outlined above…. This is similar to the dropbox.com iphone app…. And others
i. Would prefer the app to have push notification ability but pull is ok as long as the app info is refreshed each time the app opens… similar to the ap app, usatoday app, huffington app, and the drudge app
