Description
Design of 10 small microcontroller-driven wireless switch panels for HA usage.
The circuit boards (with 3 different dimensions) have analogue/digital/mixed I/O connections. The job includes 5 touch panels and 5 button panels with same functionality. The boards shall be powered by solar-cell driven coin batteries. The boards include a ready made ZigBee module based on the ATmega128RFA1 MCU from Atmel for the wireless communication. The firmware for this module will be provided by us or in cooperation with you.
The touch panels are based on surface capacitance touch and the button panels are based on illuminated momentary push buttons. We have envisioned that Atmel QTouch technology to be used for the touch panels but other technologies can be used as long as the development tools are in-expensive. All firmware should be developed in C.
The button panels will require the ATmega128RFA1 MCU only. Your job is to design the PCB and add the necessary discrete components for driving the required number of push buttons. The touch panels will probably require another MCU besides the Atmega128RFA1 and will communicate with each other using a serial protocol developed by us.
Few of the Boards will include Temperature Display LED. All firmware controlling the LED should be developed in C.
The job shall be done in 4 phases:
Phase 1: Calculation of estimated Power Consumption for selection of Sun-Cell panel. Phase 2: Design of one of the board types and have the PCB approved by us. Phase 3: Building a prototype of one of the board types to be approved and tested by us. Phase 4: Diagram, part-list and PCB layout ready for production of all Boards
All Boards to be designed and components to be placed in size/area fitting to our Glass panels hence dimension to be 100% accurate. The job also includes selecting of components, chips and other items used for the development in corporation with us.
The job is done when we receive a complete set of diagrams, component list and print layouts ready for production.
Projected time: We will pay for 200 hours and your offer shall include fixed time schedule. After receiving detailed materials you will have to confirm that you can do the job within the projected time.
If we are pleased with your performance we have several more work to offer along the same lines.

Dear Sir,
Works which will be achieved on Project:
EXPERIENCE:
Motor control experience:
I have 4 year experience DSP implementation (TMS320C31 and TMS320P16, Texas Instruments) which is about the induction motor control. Vector control technique is applied to control speed and torque of motor from low speed to 2xnominal speed. The control system consist of 3 type modulation techniques, measuring current and voltage of motor, flux estimation algoritms by using several types control technique (Kalman filter, integration techniques, filters, PI control and observers). The simulations had been implemented for several conditions and written several codes by using C complier.
Analog design and smps experience:
And also 4 year experince about smps, battery charger, analog design. I have designed li-ion battery charger (PWM controller,TL494, Texas Instruments, constant current and voltage control), 140V/24V DC-DC converter (Elance project, you can see it in my profile, the level of output voltage can be controlled by using PIC microcontroller, 250 W), 28V/20V DC-DC controller (Digital smps, be controlled by using one of the texas microcontroller, 20 W), 28V/140V DC-DC controller (TPS40210, texas PWM controller, 90 W). For all of those project I have maked ORCAD simulation, prototype , PCB design by using the CADSTAR , PCB and all experiments in labratory.
And smps project and AFE design( Two of those are Elance project that can be investigated my Elance profile, during the design lowest cost was been preferred). For those project I have maked ORCAD simulation and PCB design.
High speed PCB design:
I have experience on high speed PCB design. I have generated CAN controllor card to be used power management. I have known every details about thhe drawing PCB. (thickness of path, critical length of path, direction of trace, location of components, calculation of crosstalk e.t.c I have some calculation tool to determine some critical values of traces, holes and pads.
I can make some simulation on signals which is between some components.
Software:
C++ , Visual C++, PIC microcontroller coding with C complier, Proteus, MATLAB/SIMULINK, CADSTAR, ORCAD, XLINX FPGA programmer and ALTIUM PCB designer.
2 year experience is about:
-140V/28V DC-DC 450 W have designed by using ORCAD simulation.
-Charge pump circuits, power distribution circuits
-Permanent magnet brushless DC motor current control circuits and MATLAB simulation.
-Load sharing smps
-Digital charge pump circuits
-Several analog circuits
-Flowchart design FPGA, and written several FPGA codes
My freelance works experience:
-Switching power supply design or teardown (ELANCE, design non-isolated smps, schematic and PCB)
-AFE Design(ELANCE, special designed analog circuit designed according to functionality and cost)
-Power Supply (ELANCE, non-isolated smps with PIC controller)
-PIC18f97J60 Reading Data from Webpage (ELANCE)
-Amplitude Modulated Radio Transmitter (ELANCE)
-Therapy Board rework (Analog Design, writing PIC Microcontroller codes and implementation, ELANCE)
-Ligthing Surge Arrester (PSCAD Simulation, ELANCE)
-Battery aging (FREELANCER)
-Magnetic Reader(FREELANCER)
-Hardware Design Inkjet and PIC microcontroller coding(QDESK)
-Circuit design, pulse width modulator (ELANCE, analog design)
-Permanent Magnet Motor Driver(FREELANCER,Schematic, PCB and ATMEGA microprocessor coding)
-Uninterruptle Power Supply(Real Life Tech, Schematic, PCB and PIC microcontroller coding)
-Wind Energy Simulation(GURU,Modeling Wind Turbine and Power Converter)
Since my experience, I can complete the all projects without any problem in time.
Regards.

Hello,
We are professional developers of embedded control circuits. Please have a look at our profile in getacoder site, where we have uploaded some of our earlier work. We have already developed atleast 3 touch sensitive keypads for professional use using cypress devices. We can also design keypads where finger can be sensed from a distance (upto 6mm)
Thanks & Regards

I think it is a Zigbee based HA. We made similar kinds using TI components.
Most of our jobs are done in Freelancer as we get pretty few embedded oriented projects.
As it it a already trodden path there is no technical problem,
The Bid is fr:
1)Schematic buildup based up on your specification'
2) On freeze of spec. we wiill provide BOM for approval.luded
3)PCB and mechanical finalization.
cost of material,PCB FAB is not included, either they will be billed on actual invoice.
Thanks
Adip
