Description
Please see first the app LollyMap, free in your Apple Store.
Project will be for a new version, called "Platinum LollyMap, released for iPhone OS4 and ALSO for iPad.
The "Platinum" LollyMap will have more features than LollyMap:
1) Images with description of place. In this case user will see not just one but maybe more than one picture for each POI. He must see pictures while audioguide is playing, in the same window. It can be implemented as a separate view with an image and text overlayed.
Images must be uploaded automatically and related to the POI. The actual DB is on housing, in MSSQL (with Aruba, Italy).
2) User must register to a web site before starting using LollyMap Platinum. Only registered users can use this application. Need to be added the sign in form. The application will try to sign in when loading.
Signature can be possible from iPhone or from a Web page.
3) User can send a request, using iPhone, for a personalized travel. He can ask for a personal audioguide for a future travel, using his account, directly from a page in application. He will have a page with these requests:
a) Destination of travel
b) From (date) TO (date)
c) language preferred for audioguides (if language not covered, second choiche)
d) Age of partecipants ( 5/6 age groups)
Each time a tourist leave, he can see a page on lollymap (or web site) , where put info about travel. Than we'll simply add POI and audio to existing MAP, when finished we'll send an email with end of operation. All personalized maps will remain on LollyMap for other people.
We should take care about storing personal guides in the database.
4) At the start of LollyMap Platinum, user will choose language for audioguides. We could start with: English, Italian, Spanish, but leave a possibility for future languages. Each one will have a separate DB, with different POI and different files
5) A place where include latest information and note about a POI. For example the Address, which is not so important, could be substituted with a "Note" page. In the details page, you could add "Note" button and this will open the opposite face of the page. But we must find a way to format text in this page. Because it could contains, opening time of museums, or menu of restaurants, and so on... Note page must be formattable.
6) LollyMap will open links without exiting/quitting the app.
7) We need an "Info" page with explain of LollyMap and a legend of icons.
Please READ: total payment will be sent after Apple Store publishing of new LollyMap Platinum, a little advance could be sent after first results (first working results).
This will be first of many works on LollyMap, I have a low budget but many many work to do longterm.
