Description
Idea is to make a listings site in a specific topic, where users could get access to a searchable directory of the available services in a given city in that specific area.
The project would be done with a CMS, preferably Joomla, with JomSocial.
Things to do are:
-making a database with parameters (others will fill it up with relevant data later) that can be updated in a web form or in Excel
-making a template that automatically generates a profile page for the service providers based on the data in the database
-designing a simple site where users can access the search form
-designing an intuitive, nice looking quick search
-designing a logo (have exact idea to be executed)
-designing an intuitive windows just like in the middle of http://www.onlineradiostations.com/ to select subcategory, it should be very similar, but the topic is different
-enable users to log in with facebook account (should be very easy with jomsocial)
-enabling users to rate/comment articles, profile pages
-enable me to translate all the bits of the homepage to other language than English (the site itself will be a one-language site in other than English, the translation will be done by others, but it should be fairly simple)
