Description
I require somebody to create a VPN server installation package for Linux.
The VPN server is to allow people to access the Internet from countries/locations that have restrictions regarding websites and/or content. This is not a VPN solution for me to connect to an office; this is not a VPN solution to connect 2 locations. This is a VPN solution to allow Web/Internet access through our servers.
I require somebody to create a package that I can install anywhere I choose.
This package must be very easy to configure on a Linux dedicated server or perhaps even a shared Linux hosting package. It would be a dream come true, if I could install upon any flavour of Linux though I realise this might not be feasible.
I also require a Web interface that integrates a payment system also. At this time only integration with Paypal is required, but in the future I will add more processing options.
The Web interface will ask the end user for a username and password.
It will ask them to choose between a variety of subscription choices.
Once they have completed the payment process the system should automatically creates a user account on the VPN system and e-mail relevant details to the end user.
The actual VPN system itself should keep detailed logs of which user accessed what Web site from which IP address. It must also keep logs of what other protocols are accessed by the user (FTP, Skype, ICQ, MSN, IRC)
The VPN system should have a configuration option that allows me to set how much bandwidth allowed both in megabytes per second and also overall downloads for the month for the whole system and also for each user. If it were possible to throttle the entire VPN systems speed so that it did not use more than X amount of bandwidth per month/per second this would be great.
There should be a config file for banned domains.
There should also be another config file for banned services (I assume using port numbers of this is going to be okay)
both these config files should be updated from the Web interface.
There should also be statistics output webpage, showing things like, users connected to VPN broken down by hour, day and month, top 10 users who have used a lot of bandwidth, top 10 users were online a lot. Total bandwidth by day, month.
There should also be a web interface for user section where it will list all active user accounts.
Each listing of a user account should show: user name, password Wong, bandwidth used today, bandwidth used this month, hours connected to VPN this month. It should also show their bandwidth allowance for the month and their maximum bandwidth allocation in megabits per second, I should be able to modify settings from this area.
From this area I should also be able to suspend accounts, and also create new accounts, and delete accounts permanently.
At this time I am unsure as to whether I want to use openVPN or poptop for this, and I would welcome some discussions with code is regarding the advantages and disadvantages of both packages.
