Description
Concern:
Industry had manual leave management and approval system client realized the need for automated leave approval system.
Project Overview:
The client employed 500 employees and the process to take leave is completely manual where employee needs the fill up the form and approves from reporting heads, project managers, team leads, clients etc.
The approval comprised of multiple approval stages before final approval was done for the employee. Approval from each hierarchical level was mandatory in a bottom to top sequence.
The client wanted to automate this manual process. The hierarchical levels for all departments varied across the company hence the process was to be designed in a manner that it could be generalized for a company as a whole but be department specific. The client wanted that that notes or comments of all the rejections or approval must be maintained in the system.
At the end, the complete system designing was required in a format that all the stakeholders were fully informed regarding the leave status.
Planning/Development:
This project must be able to integrate Microsoft Sharepoint 2007 and Microsoft Outlook 2003
All notification must be made by using company email which use Outlook 2003
Calendar must be automatically updated in user account if leave is approved.

The project must EASY TO INTEGRATE with current INTRANET SYSTEM which currently using Sharepoint 2007.

DELIVERY PRODUCT - 50%
