Description
Final goal of the project:
- To recreate a boardgame on the iPhone platform.
The game will not need to be highly graphical and 3D (but some would be nice), and would suffice in 2 dimension top view. It WOULD have to have a premium and instinctive look and feel however.
A JAVA browser based version already exists of this game (but not made by me), so possibly this might be used as a reference.
Artificial Intelligence would be needed to play against a computer player.
Game involves several phases, mainly:
- Rolling Dice and receiving resources
- Trading
- Building
In a later stage multiplayer mode might be added, when a server solution for this has been found.
Basic game setup is already clear and will be provided. Since I am a bit of a coder myself, I can help with basic coding ideas.
Artwork would be good if included, however this can be supplied by myself as well.
Project Terms:
- An NDA would have to be signed to protect sensitive information.
- WITHOUT positive reviews, payments in advance would not have my preference. Escrow service for full payment would be best, so to make sure final product is as requested.
- During all stages of the product a Demo may be asked to ensure the project is going well.
- Final product will be in FULL ownership of myself, programmer will agree to give away all rights for the product.
- Programmer will have to supply both executable file AND source codes, so changes and updates can be made. All files involved will be owned by myself.
Time is not critical, and the most important part of this project will be QUALITY.. Looks and User interface will be very important here.
