Description
We have a requirement for a telecoms software expert who can design, develop, test and produce a
fully functioning software bridge between the following:

1. A Mobile Switching Center Server (MSS), providing subscriber information over an SS7 link. The
MSS in question should be generic, and be able to handle Location Based (Cell_ID)
traffic generated by the MSC of the following equipment manufacturers
- Huawei
- Nokia-Siemens
- Ericsson
- Alcatel-Lucent
- Motorola

2. The Genasys Positioning Platform (http://www.genasys.org/Genasys%20Positioning%20Platform.pdf) will be working as the middleware

Fundamentally, the software needs to read the SS7 channel for relevant information, massage it into a format appropriate to the Genasys Positioning Platform, and deal with all relevant
conditions (e.g. errors, etc). Similar commercial systems exist, and are known as Gateway Mobile Location Center. In a nut shell, a GMLC is required to operate a Cell_ID based Location
Based Services. Development language should be C/C++, and the system should be capable of handling between 80-100 transactions per second.
