Because of extreme delay (six weeks and counting!)and lack of any significant progress or urgency by previous coder, i am letting this project again.

Carry out additional enhancements and existing errors of existing 'IDS' app

these fixes are first stage of improving this app

there will subsequent projects to do larger enhancements and different versions for different purposes and it is expected that the successful coder for this (if their work is any good) would also do later related projects

we pay bonuses for good and/or fast work

below is a complete list of urgent fixes for this project .. some aretrivial and some are more significant

additional work will either separate project or paid through bonuses. Good fast work will also be paid bonuses

ALL CODE MUST BE CHECKED BEFORE UPLOADING AND BACK-UPS OF ORGINAL FILES MUST BE KEPT.

there are three parts of IDS

- NWS Admin - where we manage app

- Reseller Admin - where Reseller manages their IDS a/c

- Reseller Sales - where Resellers purchase warranties

there is a Reseller Sales & Admin test a/c '999999' & p/w '=test123' for testing

these fixes are not necessarily in order of priority or difficulty

1. all dates throughout should be displayed as dd/mm/yyyy

all times throughout should be displayed as hh:mm:ss using 24 hour clock

4. in NWS Admin, in List Resellers, the Reseller 'date created' & 'last modified' is not working correctly or accurately

5. in List Reseller in NWS Admin, last page doesn't print

7A. warranty certificates print blank last (3rd) page. please fix.

7B. change to print 'Terms & conditions' page after EVERY warranty purchased (not just at end)

8. change print page format for 'Reprint Warranty' function in IDS Admin so it the same as for original 'Print Warranty' function

9. add a 'Return to Product List' button on Warranty Confirm screen

10. delete the 'ex gst' Code field displayed in sales confirmation screen

11A. add time adjustment function in NWS Admin so that app time can be adjusted fro daylight saving

11B. invalid date formats, eg negative dates, invalid day, month, year, and future dates more than a week ahead, past dates more than 12 months, must NOT be accepted as warranty start/system purchase date

12. add Contact Name field to Reseller Details

13A. add 2nd email address field to Reseller Details
label first 'Certificate Email Address
label 2nd 'Sales Email Address

13B. print the field 'Certificate Email address' on certificate with other Reseller details

14. URGENT. some sales confirmation emails are bouncing with a 'conversion error'. it is a problem with the type of LBk codes when email is created.

15. URGENT. in warranty price display - and in sales reports etc - prices not ion wholedollars are being changed to whole dollars, ie $38.50 is being 'rounded' to $39!

16. URGENT. Sales Reports & Edit Transactions are not sorting correctly - see revised reports below (see screen)

17A. add Reseller Name to sales report sort fields and delete customer from sort fields

17.B add reseller id & warranty id to sales report & transaction edit list select/search fields and delete customer name from sales report select/search (not edit trans list)

18. add/change NWS Sales Reports sort to -

- 1. product code - sort by product code x reseller id x date with subtotals and totals

- 2. sales person - sort by sales person x month x date with subtotals and totals

- 3A. reseller id - sort by reseller id x month x date with subtotals and totals
- 3B. reseller name - sort by reseller name x month x date with subtotals and totals

- 4. date - sort by month, reseller x date

- 5. transid - sort by trans id


19A. add proper headers to all reports -

- report name, selection criteria, sort criterria, date/time, page no


19B. delete Sell price field/column & total from all reports

20. display 'Publish Product' tick box on main Product List screen (in NWS Admin)

21. URGENT. in NWS Admin, need different 'Hardware Loadings' values for each Product Category, eg Notebooks, Server, etc as each category use different waranty pricing for different product prices

22. add new PC-Diagnostic Products, Mobile Electronics, LCD & Plazma Screen Product Categories

23. enhance/change automatic email sent to Resellers when their IDS a/c created (format/text to be forwarded)

24. do bulk upload and Reseller creation from CSV file to be forwarded (without sending automatic emails)

25. add on/off Activate tickbox in List Reseller list

26. fix/add sort fields in void trans list (see screen)
