Description
I/O Controller Board specification
We need full specification, Block diagram and BOM able to control HA in Hotels, Hospitals and Office buildings. The specification to the I/O board shall as minimum include following functionalities:
 Drawings and explanation of electrical installations including main relays in a Hotel Room. Consider that each room have its own relay unit. The drawings shall as minimum include European / Middle East standard should the specification differ from Region to Region.
 Drawings and explanation how the I/O Board is connected to existing Room Relays and how the I/O Board is working.
 On/Off of lights via the I/O Board. All types of light including hall, bathroom, table lamps, ceiling lights etc. All standard types of bulbs.
 Dimmer of all lights via the I/O Board e.g. 20% / 40% / 60% / 80% dimming inclusive details how the dimming are working.
 Dimmer of individual lights including hall, bathroom, table lamps, ceiling lights etc. All standard types of bulbs.
 Control of FCU (Fan coil unit) via the I/O Board including possible requirements of external module. The FAN shall only be working as LOW / NORMAL / HIGH. The Temperature shall have a limit from 16 – 26 degrees but regulated in 0.5 steps via the Thermostat Panel.
 Controlling of HVAC via the I/O Board – if not included above.
 Controlling of Curtains via the I/O Board or any other similar units.
 Controlling of Electrical Valve via the I/O Board including possible requirements of external module. Also specification about functionality shall be included.
 Controlling of Electrical Door Lock via the I/O Board.
 Controlling of other I/O like water etc. if not already included above.
The I/O board will be controlled by an ARM single Board Computer. The specification shall show and specify whatever the I/O boards are controlled via Serial, MODbus, RS232 or RS485 connection and the protocol required for controlling the I/O Board. The specification shall also include proper arguments for the choice of connection / protocols.
The job is done when we can use the documents, drawings and specification for offering the I/O Board as an individual project. The person or company making offer shall have experiences with RMS / BMS systems and either already have such specifications or able to produce the documents from internal knowhow.
