Description
GReetings.
We need to create a bot that will work with a gmail account (has to be a gmail account). It's really an information bot which should allow for broadcasting a message to all contacts and a welcome message. Also if the user types a specific keyword e.g. help it should return help info if they type contact it will return contact details. The info would need to be updated, so I don't know if its best to use RSS/XML or just a database. Also we're not too sure about the number of contacts a single google talk account can hold, but this bot will eventually have a few thousand. The basic bot is needed. The info keywords and content for the keywords will be added later. Some basic set-up information on getting the bot running should be included. The bot should be able to run on a windows machine even if it makes use php, perl, python. The bot should also have a logging function. If anything has not been explained clearly feel free to ask questions.
1) Complete and fully-functional working code with information on how to get the bot up and running as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, and work on windows systems even if it uses php, perl, python.
3) Code should be able to run on a local WAMP if needed and basic instructions on getting it set-up should be provided.
