Description
a group of us guys that race dtr2(dirt track racing 2) are looking for someone who can make us a program that allows us to make and edit new .de2 files.
.de2 files are a type of 3d graphic model that the game uses.
we would like to be able to take .3ds file types or any other popular 3d file type and make new .de2 files from scratch.
there is already a de2 editor but it does not allow us to make new .de2 files.we can only edit existing .de2 files that came with the game.
we can use 3dsmax to edit existing de2 files but we can only use the existing number of verts and objects.we cannot add or delete any of them.

We have this program called the de2 editor. What this currently allows us to do is to edit EXISTING circuits, by moving objects around and such. However, you can not add new objects to your circuits and are forced to simply edit existing objects. You can not add new polygons or meshes to the de2 editor.
What we want is for someone to modify the existing de2 editor, or make a new one, whichever is easiest, to allow you to be able to create new .de2 files from scratch. We also need the de2 editor to be able to import .csv spreadsheet files that were created from scratch. The .csv files can be imported currently after being edited in 3ds Max or other programs, but new objects can not be added to the 3ds Max files and then imported back into the de2 editor. We need this to be made possible. I am going to attach the de2 editor into this document, as well as an existing de2 file to hopefully make this more understandable.

And now I am attaching a .de2 file that can currently be opened in the de2 editor. This de2 file is one of the default track circuits that was included with the game and that is why you can open it in the de2 editor, but you can not add new files to it like we'd like to do.
