Description
I need help with my virtual dedicated server, the postfix mail server in particular. What I need to do is this:

I need all mail sent to one of my domains relayed to a PHP script on the server which will parse it and take action based on the contents.

Example:
- A user sends an email to anyaddress@mydomain.com or any-address2@mydomain.com (this server needs to forward ALL mail sent to mydomain.com to the PHP script for processing)
- My virtual dedicated server receives the email and passes it in a way that my PHP script (/var/www/html/process_incoming_email.php) can read it and parse its contents
- I can write my own PHP script to handle the process from here

I am very familiar with PHP, but have never worked with postfix or any incoming email server for that matter, and can't figure out how to get this working.

What I need is someone who is very familiar with Linux and postfix and can make this happen.

A big issue is that I run a couple dozen websites from this virtual dedicated server and so you need to be knowledgeable enough not to break anything. Also, many of my sites send mail using the php mail() function, so if you think I need to install a different mail server than postfix, I'm not sure whether that will affect things.

I am running a VDS hosted by GoDaddy. The OS is Fedora Core release 4.

I don't expect more than 10 emails or so per hour to be sent to this domain, so scalability is not a huge concern.

I am hoping this is an easy job for someone who knows what they are doing. I will be available by chat to work with you in getting this job done.

This is the solution I tried that didn't work:

added "allow_mail_to_commands = forward" to my main.cf

and put "|/var/www/html/bpbio/mail.php" in a .forward file in my user's home directory
