Description
Please note - this project MUST be created in Filemaker Pro 8.
We have a few thousand members and are looking for a way to offer personalized gear (tshirts, mugs, etc) thru cafepress.com. I need a Filemaker DB that can do the following. The DB must be completely open, unlocked and I must be able to make any and all changes I desire.
A table that holds the graphics (jpgs)
A table that holds the names of members
Amy other tables as needed - to hold finished, customized designs, etc.
We would have layouts that show a graphic and a name together. A script via a button will take that layout and export it to a file that can be uploaded to a cafepress store.
So, if we have a graphic that is a tree and we want to create a tshirt that has that tree with a members name under it - we find the tree in the DB and the name in the DB, run the script and get a perfectly created design ready to place on cafepress.
We must be able to create our own layouts. For example, we may want the name on top of the tree or directly on the tree.
If we have hundreds of designs in the DB and 1000's of members names, we can quickly create the custom design via this DB and place it on cafepress.
We need to be able to add as many members names as we want. We need to be able to add as many graphics as we want. We need to be able to change layouts to create a new design that includes a graphic and a name - quickly - and export it to a format that works on cafepress.
Finally, we need to be able to export the new design in any of the formats cafepress requires (different sizes for different products).
I do not need graphics designed. We have the graphics. We just need a DB that can combine a jpg with a text name and export out a new graphic for cafepress.
If you have something like this already, we are willing to review a demo and pay for a unlocked version.
