Description
What we’re building is somewhat of a hybrid of a social network of. The site offers a Facebook.com meets YouTube.com & Yahoo feel. Allowing users to interact with each other and industry professionals. It offers up to minute entertainment trade news for each community in the home page. In addition there is a E-commerce section which includes subscriber listings of casting calls, auditions and production jobs. We also offer a store where we will be selling merchandise.
We have more info attached. please review it before giving an honest bid. Not looking for the cheapest, but for the most fair! Also, there will be three (3) stages to this project that will allow for whomever we choose to create a great business relationship.

http://www.bam.org/ BAM grabs your attention with the HUGE PHOTOS. The links that have
"more info" is a very nice touch. Which navigates you to where you like to go. I am a fan of easy navigation. The navigation on the bottom is not clear or effective but THE CALENDER WAS VERY WELL DONE with pics attached to each event. However the "BUY" link would be better if it did not link to a different site. Overall a very impressive site but would like to see more color, although the use of white space is very effective.
http://kcet.org/ This is closest to what I envisioned the COD site look. Great color scheme and with so much info it has an easy to use navigation with which you never feel lost. My favorite "home page" idea is the KCET KIDS & FAMILY section. The rolling flash photos remind me of MTV.com. If it was a bit larger like BAM, but not quite that big. We could have something to brag about. Overall this site is pretty dead on.

http://www.vibe.com/ This site speaks to the visual flow of the entertainment industry with rotating flash photos absolutely necessary. That section will be for promoting what's new in the site or events happening within the communities and will be regularly updated.
http://www.myspace.com/ As social networks go Myspace rules. COD wants to create a very similar pattern that myspace uses to get everyone to engage with one another. The log in box prominently placed and easy to see and use.
