Etheric Reader Number
This project is an extension of the project Etheric Reader Decision. The inquirer creates a number array Number [i,j] that contains the numbers 01 to 50; counter i represents the numbered sequence and j represents the numbers.
The project Etheric Reader Number uses the same hardware and connectors as the project Etheric Reader Decision.
Procedure
1. Download the array Number [i,j] Note. The array is listed in the Appendix Array Number [i,j]
2.In this program the unit of time is 1 millisecond (1 ms) and the unit of voltage is 1 milliVolt (1 mV)
3.The inquirer enters the value of DisplayTime ms; this is the period of time during which a number will be displayed in the centre of the otherwise black computer screen
4.The inquirer enters the value of DelayMeasurementTime ms; this is the period of time during which measured values are not accepted; it starts at the same point in time as the beginning of DisplayTime; its expiration determines the point in time from which onwards the continuous stream of measurements is accepted and stored in DataStore [i]; typical values are thought to be DisplayTime = 10 ms and DelayMeasurementTime = 5 ms Note. Measurements are accepted and stored during the last, typical 10-5=5 ms of DisplayTime
5.The inquirer formulates mentally with a reverent introduction, if they so wish a question in order to obtain the response in the form of one line of six numbers
6.The inquirer ends the question by formulating mentally the word Amen or any like ending and presses the Entry key
7.The computer cancels all displays and leaves the screen entirely black
8.k = 1 Note. Counter k = 1 6 refers to a sequence of 6 cardinal numbers
9.i = 1 Note. Counter i = 1 50 refers to a sequence of 50 numbers j listed in the array Number [i,j]
10.Set MaxValue [1] = 0.0 Note. MaxValue [1] retains the highest value of the measured resistance of R2 MaxValue [2] stores the current value of the measured resistance of R2
11.The computer displays the number j of the array Number [i,j] in the centre of an otherwise black screen during DisplayTime ms (font Arial regular 14 pt, colour purple)
12.The computer counts simultaneously DelayMeasurementTime ms and, upon its expiry, streams measurements of the voltage on pin 3 (Data+) of the USB connector to DataStore [i] for continuous updating Note. system-wise, there may be a requirement to synchronise the sending and the receiving of the data packages; data-wise, there is not
13.MaxValue [2] = DataStore [i]
14.if (MaxValue [2] > MaxValue [1]) { MaxValue [1] = MaxValue [2] iMaxValue = i
} Note. iMaxValue stores the counter i of the number of the array Number [i,j] that is associated with the largest measured value of the voltage drop across R2
15.i = i + 1
16.Repeat steps (11)-(15) until i = 51
17.Write the number j of the array Number [iMaxValue, j] into SinglyLinkedListCardinalNumber [k] Note. Refer to Note at step (8) above
18.k = k +1
19.Repeat Steps (9)-(18) until k = 7 Note. The loop (11)-(15) is nested inside the loop (9)-(18)
20.For k = 1 6 display on one line the 6 numbers of SinglyLinkedListCardinalNumber [k] with a space between each.
