Description
I want to make a web service called 'Email This Later' which basically does what it says, it emails stuff at a scheduled delivery date of course, the concept is inspired by FutureMe.org but it doesn't categorize the messages as Public/Private instead they're all considered private messages, so there's no section for browsing messages.
Messages can hold attachments and rich HTML content (Rich-Text Editor should be included).
Installation should be as simple as possible, Cron jobs should be automated from within the script (no manual cron job stuff required) Users should validate their emails the first time they use the service (no registration required) They fill-in the following fields: From Name, From Email, To Email, Subject, Message, Attachments, Delivery Date, Captcha Image -------------------------------
Web 2.0 User Interface should be simple and Beautiful Admin Configuration should be simple and beautiful Allowed attachment extensions and file size should be configurable There should be two options for captcha which i can choose from in the admin configuration panel 1. is a local capcha check 2. a Captcha from reCaptcha.net i should be able to input my reCaptcha keys from the configuration panel It should be possible to switch between php built-in Mail() function and using an SMTP server It should be straight forward and well-documented for future development. It should be compatible with all major browsers (Safari 3.1, Firefox, Opera and Internet Explorer) if you're not sure about anything let me know so i can explain more. -------------- Optional Addition When you bid on the project specify if you can do this optional thing or not
I want a possibility for users after validating their email addresses to process emails remotely, In example if i want to send a message to a friend but i want to send it tomorrow and I don't want to do it through the browser I simply email the message to info@EmailThisLater.com(email address should be configurable) where the beginning of the message body has at first and second lines: Date:dd-mm-yyyy To:someoneElse@email.com
and the website automatically process that message to be sent at the specified date.
