Description
We need a website with all the educational institutes world wide. this information can be found in wikipedia. This must all be inserted into the sql 2005 database. All institutes (universities and schools) will be categorized (university, rimary school, but also katholic or islam etc., so users can look for specific schools in a certain area. The results will also be visible on googlemaps. A user can also fill in their location and look for schools withing 100 m, 1 km etc. Each school can have a little webspace to present themselves. Default the school can give in holidays, lesson schedules, etc.
From the admin console schools can be emailed a newsletter, or link to their profile with an invitation to fill in the blank information.
On the website must be space for banners. Banners will be shown for specific users: users from a country, users looking for specific schools etc.
