Description
First of all, thank you for considering this project. I've spent a lot of time planning what I need coded, and I'm seeking a reliable person with great communication skills to develop this software. That being said, please note that security is a concern; therefore, I will briefly cover the project here and then required a signed NDA before releasing the full details of the project to interested bidders. Please keep this in mind - it would be wise to submit a placeholder bid if you're interested in this project; then I will send an NDA for you to sign. Upon receipt of the signed NDA, I will release full project details so you can adjust your bid accordingly. Here are the brief specs:
1. I need computer software developed that works across a variety of popular operating systems. I will be selling this software for download, and therefore will hold and retain all copyrights to the software.
2. The software will take buyers through a series of questions and answers, then use those questions and answers to create an output file to be uploaded to servers.
3. The software will also generate a snippet of code for web page insertion to call the generated file (much like Flash's object/embed snippets)
4. The desktop application might require a simple database, and the output code will be performing a calculation but does not need to be tied to the desktop database; so the output language will have to be cross-browser compatible and able to perform a simple addition calculation so that it can generate results. Of course, a small database-like file, or .xml file, or something of that nature might need to be uploaded as well.
These are the very basic parameters of the project. Once you've submitted the signed NDA you will have access to the full project details and can therefore make an appropriate bid. In the meantime, if you can provide some samples of your work I'd love to see it!
