Design a 'data driven' website and write a report on its development
A. Design and build a data driven website.
You are required to design and implement a small data driven website. Hosting will be provided so your site
must use the server technology covered in the lectures. Your site can be on a topic of your choice and
guidance will be given as necessary. It should at least demonstrate your understanding and skills gained
from topics covered in the classes. Hence your design should at least demonstrate the following features:
· Separation of content and display,
· Use of templates, CSS & and standards compliance
· Client and server side scripting
· database connection, with forms providing data entry, update and display
· CSS support of media beyond 'screen' including print
· Search engine friendliness

B. Write a report
You will also need to document your work on this assignment in a short report which must also be handed in.
Sections should include:
· Proposal what
the site is for and intended audience
· Annotated diagram showing the site structure
· Use case scenarios
· Storyboards, navigation details
· User feedback used to guide design and testing
· Highlight features of your site, eg. how it might be search engine friendly, usability considerations,
accessibility to certain users.
· Reflective Review: What aspects of your site do you consider most successful, what aspects of the
site would you like to improve on?
