I am looking to build an exact copy of this software that should be web based with the following clarifications.
the Software should be web based
The software is aimed at sports events, therefore the registration shoul be able to accept photos as well.
There is should be a process to submit a batch of applications and photos for a given group and photos should be matched automatically to each person accrdingh to the criteria you will propose
There should be also an option to produce badges using a series od printers.
Needless to say it is essential that all components work seamlessly together without any technical nonsense being involved in the process. Ease of use is an absolute must.
it is essential that the site not only works well, but also looks good. I will post examples of what I want the site to look and feel like later.
I also need after care service, such as resolving technical issues with the site or when updating or improving it. This is very important to me as I will simply not have the technical skills to fully maintain the site myself.
When bidding please be kind enough not to list a whole collection of services and past projects which while no doubt impressive in their own right, have little or nothing to do with the project at hand. I am only interpreted in skills and expertise that will benefit this project.
On that note please take the time to describe roughly what your vision is for the project and how you intend to complete it. Also feel free to make any suggestions that you feel may improve the final product and which you feel I neglected to list above. This, alongside another project I have listed on this website are the most important and expensive jobs I have ever posted on any freelancing website, and I like, if I can to get my monies worth, which is why I have asked for a rough plan of action.
What this does of course is to set out your vision for the project. But it also gives me some clue as to whether you understand what the project is about and what it is I am looking for.
Please make sure you quote a price. I have a fixed budget for this project and I need to know what you are looking at in terms of your fee. I am afraid I will discount any bid that does not include a price quote.
Also and this is equally important, any new script, application, or software that is developed as part of this project must be handed over to me upon completion and all ownership rights to this material must also be relinquished to me. Further more you must agree, formally if necessary that you will not use what has been developed as part of this project to build similar sites for others. If you feel you cannot abide by these terms, then please don't bid.
It is my intention to develop further any interesting script or software created as part of this project, and get it ready for sale as a standalone product. So it is quite possible the successful bidder will work with me on many further occasions. This is particularly true of the proposed automatic video submitter software which has undoubted potential.
Although I am posting now, the project will not be launched for another 2 months. This is because I have another project posted which I like to complete first before launching another. The project will be posted for 30 days or so. The project itself will begin 30 days after I have selected a winner, which makes it roughly 60 days.
