Description
I've been named as a defendant in a civil lawsuit. My brother-in-law is an attorney in IL, USA. He is a one man office and isn't skilled in this area of the law. I need someone to review the case, prepare the defense, etc. You would do all the preparation. He would handle appearances. I have the suit in pdf format. It is 6 meg. It's too big to attach here. The complaint is 11 pages, the contract is 92 pages. If this works out, I'm considering "managing" his business. I would offshore everything, except appearances. He could do that. He's a good guy, but a poor business man and terrible at paperwork. What's the next step and the proposed cost?
