Description

Project description:
We have a video studio, with some cameras and editor rooms.
We like a web based (PHP/MySQL) scheduling/booking system, for equipments, rooms and employees. External langue file in XML format.
 
Bookable parts:
3 editor rooms,
2 cameras,
1 studio.
(We like to extend the bookable parts in the future).

The bookable parts have public or non-pubic possibility (changeable).
The public parts are showing for the visitor without logging in the system, the non-public parts are visible only after login.
Any bookable parts can accessible just more than 24 hours ago.
If we haven't free cameraman or editor, the booking isn't available!
We want 5 kind of user: - supervisor
producer
reporter
editor/cameraman
visitor

 
The adapting:

The producer must adapt cameraman(s)/editor(s) for the booked parts.
Currently we have 3 cameramans, and 1 editor. (We like to extend or reduce it in the future).
The producer can see the booked parts in the page, and the free employees.
The producer can select/change the employee for the job.
The producer can do query about the employees' schedule (weekly, monthly list).
 

The employees:

The empleyees must see (after login) their schedule.
They can set the unavailable periods (like lounch break, holidays, etc.). Holiday should be allow by the supervisor: when a holiday is selected, the program send an e-mail to the supervisor with description. He/she must log in, and confirm or deny the request. The status colors: request in progress (yellow), request accepted (green), request denied (orange). After the confirm/deny, the program send an e-mail to the employee.
 
The tables:

Any bookable parts has an own page.
On this page the default view is week.
The week started from current day to next 7 days, or Monday to Sunday (switchable).
All days has a 0-24h column, with half hour details.
The booked period is RED, the free period is WHITE, the unavailable PERIOD is GREY (default unavailable periods are 00-07h and 20-24h).
The booked period must contain some info:
- which user booked it,
- when,
- any description from project,
- cameraman(s), editor(s) name,
- when accept the producer the project.
 
The supervisor:

Any supervisor can set/change
- unavailable period
- booking any time (within 24 hours too)
- delete booked period any time (within 24 hours too),
managing users (add/remove producer, reporter, cameraman/editor)
Define the credit Nr. for reporters.
 
The booking procedure:

1., The reporter
After login he/she select the equipment (like a camera).
Open this camera page. He/she see the full week calendar, with booked/free/unavailable periods.
Select a free period, and confirm it. He/she fill the description too.
The system can send an email to producer from this activity. (This function is switchable on/off by producer).
The reporters has weekly credit Nr. This credit Nr. is limiting how many hours can booking on one week.
If the reporter booking a period, the credit Nr. decreased by the hours of the period.

2., The producer
After login he/she can select an employee(s) for the booked period. For some parts (like studio) he/she must select more employee!
The system can send an email for the reporter AND the employee(s). (This function is switchable on/off by users reporters/cameramans/editors).
The producer can booking any parts in unavailable period IF this part is free, but we haven't free employee. (This function is important for lease work!)
