Hello Everyone ...
Okay, PLEASE bear with me while I explain the situation and requirements first. I posted this project three weeks ago and hired a coder to do the mods only to get to a certain point and then find that he could not complete them. So, FIRST AND FOREMOST, let me just make one thing VERY CLEAR ... IF YOU CANNOT FINISH THE WORK, PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THIS PROJECT! I WILL be as thorough as I can possibly be on what needs to be done ... If you don't understand it, or you need more clarification, PLEASE ASK AND MAKE SURE YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT IS REQUIRED OF YOU BEFORE YOU AGREE TO TAKE THE PROJECT! ALSO, YOU MUST BE COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY FLUENT IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO READING AND WRITING EMAILS AND INSTANT MESSAGES, because this is how we will communicate while the project is ongoing! I AM NOT trying to be mean, discriminitory or racist, and in no way do I mean ANY disrespect. However, the simple FACT of the matter, is that we NEED to get this completed YESTERDAY at this point, and we cannot afford to waste anymore time due to misunderstandings caused by language barriers or overzealous novices who readily bite off more than they can chew. That said, there is one last issue ... IF YOU CANNOT STAY WITHIN OUR BUDGET PLEASE DO NOT BID! IT IS that simple! We have a budget we must stick to, period. You waste both MY TIME AND YOURS by placing a bid that is HIGHER than what I have stated we can afford. That said, here is what we need ...
We have an existing Auction script that is written in PHP and uses a MYSQL database, and we need some new features added to it. As stated above some things have been started, but not finished and upon awarding the project, you will have free run of the demo site so that you can see what is working, what is not, and what needs to be finished. WE need a mod that will function like the \"end of auction percentage fee\" found in many auction scripts. However, in our case, each time someone lists an auction, they choose an organization that they want their auction to benefit and specify what percentage of the final fee to give to them. Therefore, at the end of the auction, when the BUYER pays the SELLER, we need the system to take the specificed percentage of that FINAL sale and automatically send it to the specified recipient at whichever auto payment gateway they chose when they signed up, ideally with a short email stating the ending auction info etc. The coder we hired started this, but did not finish it. PLEASE look it over and make SURE you understand each thing before you say you can do it and bid! This site is for a nonprofit fundraising project and we already have MANY months into this script with only these remaining issues, and not much to spend. If there is ANYONE out there who can help us FINALLY complete this project, it would be greatly appreciated!
