Description
Many future projects will depend on relationship built upon trust and mutual respect. Need help to teach and assist me in the following.
objective:
1. Setup spring, hibernate, tomcat, maven, build, test, deploy environment in Eclipse or IntelliJ IDEA (later versions), according to best practices (maven targets?).
2. I have understanding of Spring, spring mvc (2.5+), hibernate, but I need expert help in this area in case I need help in implementation. (the project below is simple so I imagine I can finish with your help in 1 or 2 days.)
the project details:
involves java, spring di, spring mvc, spring security, (spring webflow?), tiles, jsp, jstl, hibernate, derby on dev(oracle production), and maven. And use annotations where every possible. The application will authenticate user, and in wizard like process (3-4 dialog steps) do the following:
step 1. do a search
step 2. select the search result
step 3. confirm selection and step through
the expert should advise on how to do this, spring mvc, spring webflow.
Future functionality will create separate admin & user role views and features on pages. Store recent user searches.
How the work will be performed. You will remote into my machine and I will shadow your progress as we talk over the phone. The set up process should not take long at all.

1) We can develop this app in Spring mvc latest.
2) Will you provide us the DB for the app or we have to implement the tables for Users and Search items as well as order?
3) If a user confirms a selection then where his selection will be stored?
4) The app should be in a wizard like process. So whether you want that for all the three dialog boxes the URL of the page should be same, or they can change also.
5) Do you want a Hibernate based search criteria to be implemented here or it could be query based?
6) Do you need a functionality like this ? This product is developed in Spring 2.5 bean(mapping based)+Hibernate 3.0 .
