Description
I need a relatively simple little script.
I have a script I've custom built (not completely done yet), the script is an arcade script which will display games (SWF) and set their heights and widths to predefined variables from a database.
I want to give my users some extra customization options basically what I want is to allow them to click on a link on the page. That link will open up an internal screen similar to this: http://orangoo.com/labs/GreyBox/ (click on one of the links to see what effect I want, you can use that code if you want to save time).
Now for the main part, when someone clicks on the link they are taken to a page which they can close (nothing will update) or:
On this page they will see a black image. The image will be the same size as the game that was loaded. They will then be able to using ajax/javascript resize that image to a size they want. The tricky part is that they will when doing so be restricted in keeping the same game height/width ratio (so if a game was 100x200 (w/h) and they go to resize the height to 100, the width will accordingly also resize itself to 50).
Once they do so they can resize again or click on a button which should appear somewhere and then when clicking the button have that page close. If they updated the size of the game I want the page to be reloaded and the game width/height being used to be the ones they specified.
Finally if they dont have javascript enabled I want the initial link that you see on the game page to do any of the above to be disabled.
Summary:
- The script being made must be made using ajax
- A user will visit a game page, that page will have a link that will be disabled if javascript is not enabled on their browser.
- When clicking the link they will have a in-page popup (see above for what I mean) which will have a black image the same size as the game
- They can click and drag the bottom right hand corner of the image and resize the image using ajax/javascript.
- In addition to the above when resizing the width/height ratio will be kept.
- Once they do so they can click on a link that will then reload the page
- The size for the game will now be what they set when resizing the image.
- I give the suggestion of using sessions for the above, resizing the image WILL NOT UPDATE the mysql database with new values, instead in a session store the game name / id and what values they choose and use those.
- Final note: When resizing I also want limits, the game cannot be less than 25% of its current size and in addition it will not be able to be resized to a size of over 300% of its current size. Also when resizing if the image becomes too large for the popup box its contained in, the popup box will also have be automatically adjust its size to accomodate the new image size.
Some notes about how I work:
- I do not pay a single cent until the project is completed.
- I do not pay if I dont get what I want, to my exact specifications
- I am allowed unlimited modifications
I'm looking for LOW bids, the lower the bid the higher change of me choosing you! I also want someone with experience, give me examples of previous ajax work, I will also base my decision on previous GAC feedback.
