Description
I need to have a 3 part AJAX form for use on a local machine for managing sales directly from their database.

PARTS OF THE FORM

The form will have 3 panels - one filters the data - one shows the list of data - and the last one is the "shopping cart".

FORM FUNCTIONS

The client will use this form to post sales of merchandise directly to the inventory database and print sales receipts at sale time. The clien will search for items using the filter form, and the filtered data will appear in the list form. From here the client needs to drag an item from the data list into the "cart" form. Drag and drop needs to be both directions in case the customer changes their mind and wants to remove an item.

In the "cart" form, the client needs to be able to edit the sale price of each item. The items will either bring in no price or will bring in a value from the database table. Either way, the price must be editable. OF course, there will also be a total field on the "cart" form which displays the total cost of the purchase.

At the end of drag and drop - the client will print an invoice for a sale receipt by pressing a CREATE RECEIPT button. The client will then complete the sale with the customer outside the form, sollecting money and packaging up products. After the sale is consumated - they will mark a COMPLETED button on this screen - which will mark all items in the "cart" with sold date, sold price, soldby, soldto, etc. Client will never leave the page. All this is done on one page.

I will provide all database details to the winning bidder.

LOCAL SETUP

This client is using MS-SQL and COLDFUSION on a local machine through which this will run. They are currently running apache as the web server, but will likely be upgrading to MS-SERVER 2003 soon. I definitely prefer an AJAX/COLDFUSION solution. FLEX, AIR, ACTIONSCRIPT, etc all okay. Simple is better.

SUMMARY

I need a single form on a single page with ajax dynamic database functionality to select from and update records. It should have a sophisticated, dynamic interface look and feel. If you are not an expert at AJAX, please do not bid. This work will need to be done within 2 weeks.

I am looking for a reliable, fast company with whom I can form a long term relationship for future work on this type of project.
